It all started with a swipe right and a fateful Tom and Jerry GIF sent by two of Madison's friends who stole her phone on New Year's Eve. It created a disturbance in the force that neither Jeremy nor Madison could ignore.

Bonded by a shared love of Star Wars, golf, cats, and San Diego (where they discovered a mutual love for parrots, hummingbirds and succulents), they built a life full of light, laughter, and the occasional heated mini-golf rivalry where Jedi mind tricks have been attempted. Winner gets bragging rights.

When these two first met, there were already 5 cats in Madison’s world, and they immediately claimed Jeremy as one of their own. Jeremy didn’t just adapt – he thrived. He became a cat castle builder, professional cuddler, and even became a crazy cat lady himself, bringing the 6th cat into the mix.

While the total number of jedis decreased by one (RIP Goat), a new member was quickly recruited.

Now the couple lives in a home with six cats, at least two dozen nicknames between them, and an unspoken understanding that every major decision must first pass through the feline council.

Is it chaos? Yes.

Is it adorable? Also yes.

Would they have it any other way? Absolutely not.

Every time Madison and Jeremy have had the chance to dress up for Halloween, there is never a question of what you will see them dressed as. Madison always steps through the looking glass as Alice from Wonderland, and Jeremy rolls deep as one of The Warriors. Together, they become "The Warriors in Wonderland" — the crossover event no one expected, but everyone secretly needed.

It was a trip to their favorite place in the universe: San Diego. At Sunset Cliffs, with waves crashing and the sun setting, Jeremy asked Madison the easiest question she has ever had to answer, and a vacation of delicious food, competitive bar games and a surprise Ocean Beach holiday parade together as a newly engaged couple followed.

Now, they’re getting married. The council of cats has approved. The galaxy has been notified. The mini-golf rivalry has been temporarily paused.

The wedding is on.
